Los Angeles, CA-June 11, 2009
- MATECH Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: MTCH - News)
- (MATECH) will be presenting jointly with
Northrop Grumman at the 2009 International Bridge Conference
in Pittsburgh, PA on June 16, 2009.
The presentation will cover how Northrop Grumman and MATECH
are working together on the new Northrop Grumman Sensor Information
Systems (SIS) program for bridges. Northrop's SIS integrates
inspection systems with such other sensor systems, as security
and environmental. SIS will provide integral information for
bridge infrastructure owners.
A key component of Northrop's SIS is MATECH's Electrochemical
Fatigue Sensor(TM) (EFS) system, and its use in prioritizing
fatigue crack repairs and verifying retrofits real-time on steel
bridges.
Robert M. Bernstein, MATECH's CEO said, "MATECH is pleased
to be working with Northrop Grumman on this initiative. We anticipate
this presentation will be invaluable for all attendees and that
this SIS program will help to revolutionize infrastructure management."
